Welcome / Course Information
Welcome to the 23rd Methven Summer School. Once again Methven Summer School is proud to offer five days of interesting and challenging courses with something for everyone. As usual we have something new to go alongside our traditional favourites.
Peter Shutt’s ‘retirement’ from Methven Summer School brings a change in fly fishing tutor – we thank Peter for his generous contribution over many years and welcome Chappie Chapman. An Introduction to Multi-Sport provides a chance for those keen to get into this exciting sport and obtain their grade 2 cetificate in kayaking.
Screen Printing on Fabric will appeal to those interested in textile art, and there is a great variety of art classes. Silver Jewellery Making and Flax Weaving will also be popular choices.
Cheese making enthusiasts will be thrilled that Katherine Mowbray is coming back after all. The Mt Hutt College kitchen will be busy with home brew, gluten free cooking and sausage making.
