Painting with Colour and Light
Come join Bronwyn Shimmin for two days on a journey of light and colour. Under her guidance, learn to incorporate these vital elements into your art. All levels most welcome. Acrylic and/or Oils.
Bronwyn Shimmin
Bronwyn has always been inspired by light and the luminosity of colour, striving to capture these elements on canvas. Her preference is to work on location as much as possible with her medium of choice being either oils or acrylics (although her sketch books are filled with pen and ink reference drawings). Bronwyn has an Honours Diploma in Arts and Creativity, is a founding member of the Geraldine Performance and Arts Academy and is a qualified Golden Artists Programme Educator. She has won numerous art awards, most recently the Aspiring Art 2014 Premier award. She has exhibited widely throughout New Zealand and teaches art workshops and classes privately and for various organisations. Bronwyn's mantra is that art should be fun and to paint what inspires you.
