Peter will inspire you to make a wonderful koru in beautiful Oamaru stone. Over the two days you will complete two sculptures to take home and enjoy, while learning the skills needed to turn stone into Art!

Peter Green

Peter is a skilled and knowledgeable carver of Oamaru Stone. Peter had a difficult upbringing and soon found himself in prison. It was there that he learned to carve, although it wasn’t stone he carved but wood.
Peter still does wood carvings when or if required but now he prefers to use Oamaru stone as his main medium. He has been carving in stone for eight years now and feels his work just keeps getting better and better. Peter is always learning new techniques and designs and would love to share his skills with you.
