Philip Nordt
Phillip studied tourism and hospitality in Vienna, before having the pleasure of learning his craft at Germany's best hotel, the Four Seasons in Munich. He travelled to New Zealand to launch the opening of some of New Zealand's best first class lodges, before opening popular entertainment and food venues in Christchurch.Phillip returned to Canterbury, where he loves the Methven Winter. "Methven is beautiful in the winter and the abundance of fresh ingredients and wild game is extraordinary" Phillip said. Fresh is an important factor with Phillip's style. Nothing he serves is pre-made or packaged.
