About the Course
Come and join me for an inspiring fun filled day of quick easy recipes using fresh natural ingredients. We will enjoy making and tasting a variety of items that are often bought in the supermarket. Our items however will be made by hand without additives, colourings or preservatives so will have wonderful honest flavours and have to be better for us.About the Tutor
Emily Cross has been a chef for 28 years. She completed a 4 year culinary apprenticeship at Christchurch Polytechnic and won top apprentice chef in New Zealand. She then travelled overseas for a number of years and worked in a variety of prestigious establishments in different countries cooking for number of famous identities. She returned to New Zealand and began her career as a professional cookery lecturer for 15 years. She also co-hosted two distant education television programmes.In recent years Emily has held a number of positions as Executive chef at Darjon Vineyards; food consultant for two inner city food establishments; and most recently as Jo Seagar’s cook school assistant and associate tutor in Oxford. Emily also works as a part time Professional Cookery Tutor at CPIT (Christchurch Polytechnic Institute of Technology)
