Sue Simpson has been immersed in the creative arts from childhood. She excelled in art at school and worked in architectural and structural engineering firms. With her husband and family she has travelled extensively overseas over the years and has studied and worked in photography, pottery and art groups.
From 1993 to 2004 Sue developed her own picture framing business, and for three years a fine art gallery, in Ashburton.
Sue has studied watercolours, oils and acrylics with notable professional artists over the last twenty years, with the love of watercolour painting taking a strong hold, and she now finds teaching an exciting part of her life.
