Introducing Kirstie Gilchrist

Kirstie Gilchrist is a passionate bike mechanic and the owner of Big Al's Snow & Bike Shop, a local haven for cycling enthusiasts and outdoor adventurers. With a wealth of experience in bike repair and maintenance, Kirstie prides herself on keeping bikes in top condition so riders can enjoy their rides with confidence.

She is also a dedicated tutor for outdoor education trips with Mount Hutt College, where she shares her love of mountain biking and the outdoors with students.

An avid mountain biker herself, Kirstie enjoys exploring new trails and inspiring others to embrace the thrill of cycling. Her blend of technical expertise , outdoor passion, and teaching makes her a valuable resource for both novice and experienced riders alike.
