FIND YOUR WAY WITH WATERCOLOUR
Susie will Demonstrate various styles to render paintings differently. People will experiment to find what they fancy!!
The course will start with sketching to get creative juices flowing.
A playful atmosphere talking art on paper is hoped to inspire ideas and create your own individuality.
Stations will be set up with each style demonstrated to paint medium sized works.
Students can bring works they are having trouble with at home for Susie to help you complete.
Paints and brushes need to be purchased by students attending, unless you already have your own. Paper will be provided by Susie.
NB lunch add-on is for both days
About introducing Susie Millichamp
Susie has been an artist for 30 years, in watercolour and oil and has a studio in Staveley. Her experience includes teaching watercolour classes at "The Drawing Room" in Christchurch.
Susie also paints en plein air, taking advantage of the wonderful landscape in which we live! She has had solo exhibitions in Queenstown and Methven. She exhibits around Ashburton two or three times per year, and has done courses in Italy and France with world renown artists.
She describes her style as "an Impression of reality" , is a colourist, and pays a lot of attention to composition.
