GARDEN WIRE ART
Learn how to make garden art using chicken wire, and beads for a sun catcher. The projects will be fun and anyone will be able to create their own unique pieces.
Students will need to bring apron, gloves, safety glasses, wire snips and other pliers to bend and cut wire. If you have some favourite beads bring them along too.
Introducing Kathy
Kathy is a self taught crafter and will give anything a try. Her first projects were fabric related sewing, upholstery. She has now branched out to repurposing, recycling items to make something new or different. Attending Methven Summer School inspired her and she attended numerous classes before joining the committee and is now trying her hand at tutoring.
While in Canada, she and her crafty sister tried their hand at wire art. It was fun easy and she could recycle old frames, wire, necklaces, into some amazing pieces. So bring your imagination and create your own!
