These are flexible books and require a minimum of equipment, allowing you to easily make them at home.

Introducing Tessa Warburton

Tessa graduated from CPIT (now ARA) in 2000 with a Bachelor of Craft Art, majoring in Printmaking and Sculpture. She had previously studied and gained a Bachelor of Arts, majoring in Psychology at Canterbury University in 1993, and also studied Bookbinding under Don Hampshire for five years in Christchurch.
From 2001 until 2018 she worked as a Limited Edition Printmaker for Marian Maguire at PaperGraphica (now PG Gallery 192). She printed for many well-known artists, such as John Pule, Gretchen Albrecht, and Bill Hammond. During this time she was also working as a Bookbinder at home, creating her own art works from paper, waste from bookbinding, and other materials. She teaches privately at home and out and about as a bookbinder.
She has recently been teaching drawing to a group of home school students here in Oxford. I am involved with our local gallery as a volunteer, as well as with a group of Papermakers based at Oxford Gallery.
