MAKE A POTTERY BIRD FEEDER
Come and join Ali and learn the art of hand-building with clay. No previous experience is required, just a willingness to get your hands dirty.
In the morning we will make a beautiful pottery bird feeder, and in the afternoon we will decorate them with colourful underglazes. Ali will then take them home to dry and will firstly bisque fire them and secondly glaze fire them with clear glaze.
They will then be ready to pick up in either Methven or Ashburton. This will take about two weeks.
Introducing Ali Jackson
When Ali is not helping out in her family's spreading business you will find her in her pottery shed making large bespoke handmade creations from rhinos to a set of Christmas decorations.
Ali has many years experience
and has taught many beginner potters the techniques needed to successfully hand-build unique works of art. Ali has been potting for 20 years and still learning.
