NEEDLE FELTING - FELT A COW WORKSHOP

In this one-day needle felting workshop, you will learn to make a wire armature, sculpt the body, and create finishing details to make a charming cow.

Diana will teach you the craft of needle felting, guiding you through the process for skeleton to finished coat. No experience needed, all tools and materials provided. Students will need to bring along their own sewing scissors.

Introducing Diana Renwick

Diana Renwick is the artist behind Hearfelties needle felted pet sculptures. Diana has always been artistic and crafty, and her commissioned 3D replicas are a natural extension from her animal portrait artwork.

She taught herself the craft from watching an online tutorial in 2015 and she soon started making custom creations of pets. The majority of orders are memory pets with the late animal's fur incorporated into the replica.

As a sheep farmer's daughter, Diana takes pride in using New Zealand wools in her felted creations. Heartfelties has had widespread media interest with newspaper, magazine, television and radio coverage. Diana makes miniature pets for customers around the world and also runs needle felting workshops throughout New Zealand.
