PASTELS WORKSHOP

Exploring Landscapes with Pastels. This is a two-day workshop using soft pastels to explore various landscape forms. Mike has years of experience with pastels and is a relaxed and informal tutor. He will demonstrate a wide variety of techniques and offer individual help with using this most versatile and effective painting medium. His teaching system for pastels will suit beginners through to those more familiar with the medium.

NB: The lunch add-on is for two lunches

Introducing Mike Glover

Mike Glover has been exhibiting his work since the early 1990s and is known for his distinctive pastel paintings which reflect a love of the wild rivers and landscapes of the South Island.

An award-winning artist, he has been active in art tutoring and community art initiatives in Selwyn and Canterbury for many years. Along with his own art practice, he is currently the Gallery Administrator for the Down by the Liffey Gallery in Lincoln, which he helped establish in 2011.
