UPHOLSTERY WORKSHOP
A place where you can bring along your own piece of furniture to upholster where you can complete your project under the guidance of the talented Maggie Morrison.
Learn new skills to take home and put to use on more projects.
You will need some basic tools to tackle upholstery at the MSS workshop:
- Small Hammer
- Screw driver, old chisel or staple remover
- Scissors
- Tape measure
- Hand-held staple gun
NB: Make sure you have the correct staples to match your staple gun.
NB: The lunch add-on is for both days.
Introducing Maggie Morrison
A talented upholster, Maggie started her upholstery business at Little River, Banks Peninsula, trading as Peninsula Upholstery for the last 30 years.
She learned the art of upholstery through the Salvation Army in Christchurch .
Maggie is now based in Mount Somers, where she moved two years ago, and is looking forward to teaching upholstery at the Methven Summer School in January.
