WALL CLIMBING
This is an introductory course for those new to climbing, introducing everything you need to know to climb safely on an indoor climbing wall. The course will outline th e ho w-s and why-s of belaying with a range of devices as well as efficient techniques and movements for climbing.
Introducing Ed Coles
Ed Coles has been a qualified climbing instructor for over 25 years. Born and brought up in the UK, he started climbing in the English Peak District before embarking on adventures to the European Alps, Rockies, Andes and Himalaya.
Currently teaching at Mt Hutt College, Ed is a key member of both the College Outdoor Education team and the Methven Community Climbing Wall.
