The world of whisky is complex and varied. One of the easiest ways to get to know it is to come along and enjoy a tasting evening with Michael Fraser Milne from Whisky Galore. The tasting will take you on a journey through Scotland’s Single Malts whilst showcasing the far reaching flavour profiles Scotch whisky has to offer. There will be six whiskies available to try from across the regions, featuring varying styles and ages. If you’re keen to learn a bit more about the ‘water of life’ come along and join us.

Nibbles will be provided during the evening.

A sober driver is required.

Introducing Michael Fraser Milne

Michael Fraser Milne is the co-owner of Whisky Galore, New Zealand’s premier whisky shop situated in the heart of Christchurch. Originally born in Keith situated in the Highlands of Scotland, Michael has spent over 20 years in the whisky industry as an importer, educator and distributor of Scotland’s most famous drink.

In 2008 Michael was awarded with an appointment to the Keepers of the Quaich, an international society that recognises outstanding commitment to the Scotch Whisky industry, something he was proud to have achieved here in New Zealand.
