Q. How will I know if my registration has been confirmed?

A. (1) Cheque Payments: Course confirmation receipts will be issued by post for cheque payments ONLY. (2) Online Payments: Registration is automatic. The invoice is your receipt of confirmation for your registration on the course/s. Print out your receipt. Keep it in a safe place.

Please present your registration receipts when you attend your course/s in January.

Q. Is lunch included?

A. No not unless its specified on a particular course. There is a lot of great cafe's, restaurants and hotels in Methven that can provide lunch.

Q. Where/what time do we meet?

A. Most courses meet at Mt Hutt College at 9am, however a number of courses for 2018 are being held off site so depending on your course this information will be advised in your course confirmation letter.

Q. What supplies etc do I need to bring for my course?

A. Depending on your course this information will be advised in your course confirmation letter.

Q. Will I need my own transport?

A. Methven Travel offer shuttle transport between Christchurch Airport to Methven and return, they can be contacted on 03-302-8106 or email . Either contact them directly or the Methven i-SITE Visitor Information Centre who will be able to make reservations for you, contact 03-302-8955 or

Q. Is there an age limit for courses?

A. Yes, all the courses we offer are adult based learning, therefore a minimum age of 17 is required.

Q. Can we book accommodation with you?

A. You are best to find out from us where your course is going to be located and we will endeavour to ensure you are placed with like minded students. We then suggest you contact the Methven i-SITE Visitor Centre 03-302-8955 or email to make a reservation.
They will be able to help you out with any travel arrangements you require.

Q.Is PayPal secure?

A.Yes. PayPal uses SSL technology to keep your information safe. In addition, when you send a payment using PayPal, the recipient won't receive sensitive financial information like your credit card or bank account number. This way, you don't have to worry about paying people you don't know.

Q. Is there a cancellation fee if I wish to withdraw from a course?

A. Should you wish to withdraw from a course a refund will be made available, less an administration charge of $50, provided we are notified by 1st December 2017. After this date refunds will only be given if we are able to on-sell the space made by your cancellation.
